ADJUDICATION

Over the past several years we've had many top notch judges from around the southest. Many of our judges have experience in judging Bands of America, WGI and have bands that have performed at The Midwest Convention. Judges are selected based on their credentials and availability. Judging is based on the SCBDA format of music performance, visual performance, and overall general effect.

Each competing band will recieve a copy of the judges tapes, a dvd of their performance

AMENITIES

Water will be available to all band members at no charge before and after your performance. If your band would like "curbside" delivery of pre-performance meals or snacks, please call 864-583-8848 to make arrangements. A wide variety of Concessions will be on-site.

Band Directors are invited to visit our hospitality suite located inside of the stadium fence for light snacks and ordourves.

This year ALL bands will be recognized at the awards cerimony.

First, Second, and Third Place,
Best Horn line
Best Drum line
Best Color Guard
Best Drum Major
Rating trophy for those not placing in top 3

Each Division:
Esprit De Corps Award -the band that shows the most teamwork and dedication during the day
Band Spirit Award - the band that shows the most spirit cheering on other bands
Best Pit Crew - most speedy efficient pit crew
Band Booster Spirit Award - most spirited parents in the stands
Most Entertaining Music
Grand Champion of Class I - III
Grand Champion of Class IV – VI

In Spartanburg, SC from I-26 take I-85 North (not Green Business 85)
Take Exit 75 Hwy. 9 North toward Boiling Springs.
Travel 2.8 Miles; Turn right just past 1st Baptist Church onto Old Furnace Rd.
Boiling Springs High School is ½ mile on Left.
